SISCO

Spectroscopic and Imaging Surveys for COsmology

VST virtual model

SISCO was a Research Training Network funded by the European Commission's 5th Framework Improving Human Potential programme. The network contract (HPRN-CT-2002-00316) between the European Commission and network participants started on 1st October 2002 and, with a duration of 48 months, ended in September 2006. The networks' research was devoted cosmological surveys.

Here is a gzipped postscript copy of the successful proposal. A formal description of the network is available, Annex I (Word document). Another small page links to other European networks.

SISCO is now closed - here is the final report

SISCO's final act was to sponsor the

Cosmic Frontiers cosmology conference

at Durham University, UK, in July/August 2006.
