DustyGal was a six year research programme funded by an European Research Council Advanced Investigator Grant at the Durham University.
The Principle Investigator was Ian Smail and the programme ran for 2013-2018. The goal of this programme was to advance our knowledge of the star-formation properties of the most luminous star-forming galaxies which have ever existed: high-redshift submillimetre galaxies (ultra- and hyper-luminous infrared galaxies).

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 321334 as part of the programme for Physical Sciences and Engineering: Universe sciences.
